"Great quality and most comfortable leather jacket I've ever tried or owned (and I have too many) as described it is surprisingly lightweight. I like the A2 design and this is the first I found that did not fit baggy. I followed Cockpit USA advise and size chart, and sized up to a large. I'm 5'10 and normally wear a medium or 40 chest, being 170 lbs. The large fits great with room to add a layer. As the jacket is more a windbreaker the layering option adds versatility. This is my second Cockpit jacket, I would highly recommend. A great counterpart to my G1 which is brown, very warm, and though wonderful leather a bit heavy in weight."

"Most comfortable leather jacket I’ve worn. Surprisingly lightweight and easy to move in. I followed sizing recommendations and went with large, though I normally wear medium. With the slim fit, large fits well and leaves just enough room for a thin layer underneath."

"Been looking for the perfect slim fit black leather A-2 for years and was shocked by how difficult it was to find one. Most manufacturers simply don't make slim fit leathers which is crazy. I bought a Schott and sized down to get a slimmer fit but just it just wasnt right (such a waste) so cockpit was a second attempt. Being more educated about my purchase, I found cockpit USA online and visited their NYC store and finally found my grail leather. The leather of this jacket is lambskin and super soft and not as ridgid (but also probably not as durable) as cowhide but thats what I was looking for! Its a slim fit but not super tight - perfect. And lastly and super important to me is that its made in the USA! I'm 5'8 and weigh 155lbs and got a medium (perfect). The length of the jacket doesn't feel short like the Schott leather jacket. The folks there were super helpful and friendly. Note the store is on the 12th floor so it's not a visible store front on the street but you just need to take an elevator up the building. Super happy with my purchase."
